GiftRocker promotes straight forward, honest relationships between shopkeepers and customers. As such, collection of personal information is minimized and will never be sold or distributed without your consent from GiftRocker.
Shopkeepers will have access to customer information for individuals purchasing that shopkeeper’s gift cards, event tickets or experiences on GiftRocker. This information includes name, phone and email. As part of our shopkeeper agreement, shopkeepers will never sell or distribute personal information.
Personal information is never shared between shopkeepers.
Third Party Tracking and Analytics
Conditionally by shopkeeper, GiftRocker uses Meta Pixel on our website, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. for EU users). This tool allows the shopkeeper to understand user behavior, measure the effectiveness of our advertising, and retarget visitors on Facebook and Instagram.
When you visit our website, the Meta Pixel collects data—including your IP address, browser information, and interactions on our site—and sends this information to Meta. We may also use ‘Advanced Matching’ to securely share hashed contact information (like email addresses) to better match users with their Facebook profiles. Meta acts as an independent controller of this data, and this information is used in accordance with their Data Policy. You can manage your ad preferences and opt-out of targeted ads through your Facebook settings.
