The Battle of the Barrel-Aged Beer pits local breweries against each other as they each try to wow the public and judges with a special barrel-aged brew. This year’s participating breweries are: returning champion Atlas Brew Works, Port City Brewing Company, Denizens Brewing Company and Right Proper Brewing Company. 

Join us at Boundary Stone on Tuesday, September 24th, for the 11th annual Battle of the Barrel-Aged Beer Competition as the brewers compete for the most coveted prize in DC brewing! Special guests will include brewers and representatives from all competing breweries, as well as local celebrity judges. In addition to selecting the style or barrel type for next year’s competition, the winner will receive a dedicated tap line at Boundary Stone, a special Battle of the Barrel-Aged Beer trophy, and bragging rights until next year!
